Well, I've actually been coming on here for a while. My name is Sean. I live in Mt. Holly. And, well, I'm a HUGE Miami Dolphins fan. I do pull for Carolina of course. I like the site. It's got a very relaxed "personality." I'm normally on Finheaven.com, but come here from time to time to say hello, wish the Pathers luck, or share info if I have any. A little info about me: Obviously, I love football. I played football (QB) from Pop Warner into College before I tore ligaments in my left knee and ankle. After my college career was pretty much shot, I played semi- pro for several seasons in Charleston, SC and California and had an opportunity to go to Italy to play but my legs continued giving me problems, so I hung up the cleats. I have coached Pop Warner football for 8 years. I actually started coaching when i was still playing. Coaching is much safer. :-) Well, that's my football background in a nutshell.

I play guitar, sing, write songs, and am working on a novel and a book of short stories. So if you share any of these interests, give me shout.

I look forward to shooting the bull with you guys and gals more in the future. Take it easy!

So what storylines are you guys most looking forward to in the Preseason?

Moore v. McCown - Really interested in this. Jake is our starter for sure, but with the team we have we can't afford to have a bad season because one guy got hurt. If Jake goes down these guys need to be able to pick up the slack. Moore has proven he can do that when healthy and McCown is a veteran who is capable. I'd like to see Moore win, but I think it's a dead heat for the 2 spot.

Return Man - Really interested to see how Carter and Robinson have recovered from injury, if they show any rust. Also, everything that has come out of camp says that Goodson can contribute in the running game, passing game and even the return game. I think we have a lot of options to look at here and thankfully so because this always seems like a position of need every year.

Passing game - More specifically Jarrett and Barnidge. Moose and Smitty have the first two spots locked up and in a run first offense King will get most of the TE looks, but these guys are the future with much more upside. Barnidge might be limited again, but needs to show more improvement and the time is now for Jarrett. There is no reason he shouldn't have a full grasp on the entire offense and be poised for a big year. I think there is a lot of pressure on these guys to do something significant in the Preseason to set the tone.

DT?? - Really looking forward to see what young guy will step up and make a name for himself or between Johnson and Brayton and even Peppers what kinda success will they have if they need to slide those guys inside? Meeks needs to be creative and I'm excited to see what kinda looks he throws at teams in his trial run as DC.

What are you guys looking forward to in the Preseason?

      Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.

      I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
