2015 draft prospects watch thread

Amari Cooper showing why he might be the best receiver in college football, but I would like to see some more of Sammie Coates tonight. Also, would yall trade up for Andrus Peat? I think I would.

Like Cooper a lot, but I don't think he's a can't miss prospect.

I would not trade up for Peat, eventho I love the kid. This is a pretty deep class if these guys do come out. Cam Erving and La'el Collins are legit and very physical guys. Brandon Scherff could be the top OT by draft day. And, Spencer Drango is a stud but may not come out.

I'm going to be looking at WR Deontay Greenberry from Houston this year.

 

Not as a 1st round prospect, but more as a 2nd-3rd round option.

heard nothing but good about Greenberry, have to watch him some more. seen him vs Cinc Bearcats last year and he was decent.

Scherff and Cedric are the top OT right now. Cam Erving is actually sliding down in my eyes, while Collins is moving up. he looked really good week 1 vs Oklahoma St.

 

i know they say scouts don't look to the future, but poo ours seem like they have. wait on DT, when DT class was deep the following year. grab Star, and KK. wait on WR, get KB in deep draft. wait on OT, and next year is setting up to be a deep OT class.

We'll have to look for OT help thru the draft bc FA is going to be pretty weak. Wouldn't mind double dipping 1st-2nd at all.

Does anyone else think that we may try to get a linebacker and a receiver with speed in next years draft? I read on sportrac that Thomas Davis contract ends in 2016.

yes he is. that entire left side made some huge holes and ran lanes. i think Corey Robinson will translate really well to the RT spot.

 

another WR who has return ability is Sterling Shepard for Oklahoma. tough as hell, and catches almost everything thrown his way.

Even though he's a QB, I'm seriously liking Trevor Knight.  If he was hanging around in the third round, I would pick him up.  Train him up as a Panther, and use him as trade bait later on.

he is a true sophomore, so the panthers will have to wait a year.
