I hear this word used very loosely, all of the time on sports analysis shows.

I have always been annoyed with how the term was used, usually just used anytime a team plays and wins.

It appears as though we are already facing some adversity in our first two games.

Our first game, we played on the road with our star QB out, against a division rival.

This game, we play without out starting running back and our starting defensive end.

Hopefully after our game today, we can finally here the word adversity used meaningly, and it will be used to describe us and our accomplishments.
