THIS IS AN OUTRAGE.

Where do you see who is advertised?

WWE Website.  Go to the event details or whatever.

She was advertised until yesterday.

But Nakamura is advertised.  Asuka, Balor, Carmella, Baron Corbin, American Alpha, and others that I cant remember right now

Well, last night we just watched Shinsuke Nakamura wrestle his second match ever for WWE in front of an intimate crowd in Concord. I have a feeling that statement, while already robust, will mean even more in the coming years.

This show was loads better than TNA's Bound for Glory, save for the absence of Billy Corgan this time around. Pretty cool knowing that Baron Corbin won the co-main event at WrestleMania on Sunday, then turned around and worked in front of 3K people on Thursday.

American Alpha is the real effing deal. The sky is the limit for those guys. But the star of the show was clearly Nakamura. I know that not everyone is crazy about the term "superstar," but few words would better describe him in person.

I had a lot of fun last night.

There was a really good crowd there.  Wasnt sold out but probably 2,200 people were there and venue holds 2,500 so pretty darn full.

Elias Sampson and Alex Riley almost put me to sleep in their matches and I missed No Way Jose match that started the evening.

Austin Aries match was best of the night against some guy I didn't even know, but by the end of the match they had the crowd totally into it.

Peyton Royce got a lot of offense on Asuka which was surprising but I think Royce is going to get a bigger role on NXT soon once others move up.

Nakamura's entrance is just something to behold live.  He got a "Holy shlt" chant just by simply being there.

Main event was fun.  They did a bunch of Ric Flair spots. Balor was doing the Flair strut after his chops and Tye Dillinger did a Flair flop, and took the Flair bump off the top rope.

Eva Marie is just a heat magnet, and she stole Asuka's belt setting up a match tonight in Columbus so.... it was nice knowing you Eva Marie.  RIP

Biggest pops

Nakamura (by a lot)

Balor

American Alpha

Asuka

Carmella

Austin Aries

Most heat

Eva Marie

Elias Sampson

Roman Reigns (no seriously whenever his face popped up on the big screen he was booed loudly lol)

A really, really fun show.  Still dissapointed that there was no Bayley or Samoa Joe despite them being advertised all the way up until Wednesday.

Tee, do you know who Jonny Fairplay is? I met him in the beer line and he's a total douche.

Great observation about Reigns. Nuclear heat for the guy and he wasn't even in town. Speaking of that, I liked his promo on Smackdown this week. It seems like they're letting him teeter on the brink of becoming a heel. There was a BIG opportunity missed when AJ talked about how he's won world titles before, and Roman smugly shrugged it off. I wish he'd said something like: "Little League championships don't matter when you're in the Majors, son!"

Of course, they have plenty of time to let it develop. There's no way that the crowd turns against AJ at this point, though. Just cut Roman loose and let him work as a heel...at the very least in this feud. It's the only way to get him over.

I have no idea who he is, but just googled him and definitely saw him last night because he was wearing a Bayley shirt

They have done better with Reigns on RAW and Smackdown.  I really think he could be a good condescending dick badass heel.

I hope they keep going in that direction because he will actually get over that way.  I dont think he will ever be universally loved until he does a full heel turn.

I didn't know who he was until Thursday, either. He was probably annoyed that I didn't recognize him immediately. After about 30 seconds of casual conversation, he points out:

- He's got a blue check next to his name on Twitter

- Nakamura replied to his tweet earlier in the day

- All the "fuging losers" around us have had tickets for months, and he was able to get front row just yesterday

- My second row ticket in the same floor section he was sitting in was clearly inferior to his seat

Once he was done, his buddy said to him "You feel better now?"

fug that guy. He probably made a good heel, though.

    • I don't think Dave touches the defense. That might be a mark against him but definitely a huge red flag for evero. He refuses to run anything other than soft zone and when you don't get pressure that's an awful scheme
    • You don't have to convince me. I think not picking up the option should absolutely be firmly on the table but I just do not see Tepper and Morgan doing that for previously stated reasons. Therefore I'm not going to bother entertaining the notion. Just hoping we actually get real viable competition. If that doesn't happen at the minimum then my perception of that is complete and utter professional malpractice.
    • It was absolutely a catch, and I can’t believe how many folks were stating, before the NFL’s apology, that the overturn was the right call.  The ultimate question in this case is this: can a player complete a catch with only one hand? Of course, we all know the answer to that question, and it is an emphatic “Yes.” T-Mac maintained complete control with one hand (believe it was the right) while the other came off when the ball hit the ground. The ball was in the same position in the one hand (watch T-Mac’s fingers in relation to the NFL shield on the ball) after touching the ground as it was when it first went to the ground. Going back to the question above, if one hand can establish control, then there was no need for the other to stay on the ball, so long as the ball doesn’t move in that one hand that stays on it   It blew my mind that they overturned this in the first place. This should not be a “We got it wrong on the replay because there wasn’t clear and convincing evidence.” This should have been, “That was absolutely a catch.”
