This teams too soft

I've thought about this for a long while.. It seems to stem from the top, this team just wants a Boy Scout club as a roster..

Anytime a player makes any comments out of context he's disposable, whether you believe Bene being cut was purely down to performance rather than what he had to say about his conditioning and teams showing, Bene or big play has always been a vocal guy.

I'm looking in that locker room and I'm thinking who are the characters when times get tough? Who drags this team up ala Smitty after the Vikings game held a team meeting.

Smith, Norman, Mitchell, Avant.. All these guys were brash and not to shy in expressing there views, I think no matter what happened last year it was a season of a life time, where everything just went right(upto the Super Bowl) and I doubt we shall see one again for many awhile, we need to stop closing the door to high strung emotional guys in that locker room.

This team lacks characters, it's coaching staff look like the waxworks of Madame Tussaud's.. Is this a direct philosophy from JR? I'm not saying we should sign or draft character issue talent, I don't want that kind of thing, but this team is just a team of gentleman, I want to see some emotional big hearted guys out-there!

All we have is yes men who fall into line and keep quiet! Every other team around the NFL doesn't seem to be this way. Do you honestly think if we had been on the board when OBJ was there that Dave would have drafted him? Talent wise yes! But he's a prima donna he would cause a stir in the locker room be a distraction like Smitty was.. This is an issue for me because this team is only fine when there winning when they aren't they fall apart and that's down to character and what's installed in that locker room..

I still think we will be fine. Ill be shocked if we go less than 10-6.  I remember in 2014 at 3-8 when everyone was ready to write off the team and we went young and got on a roll.  I am still thinking our coach and gm knows what they are doing and in time will look like geniuses.  Lets just see how the season plays out. 

Once we get Cam and J. Stewart back and healthy we will start steamrolling.  We just need to find away to get these next 2 and get to the bye.  We will be fine.

We had it before Gettle came here, so I'm not going to blame JR, this is strictly Gettle doing

Josh Norman made it clear when he left, they want this team to be about two people. Cam Newton and Luke Kuechly. That lombardi trophy won't be raised if that continue to be the case. JR seems to only get involved if its something very drastic, but football wise he stays hands off and he needs to be hands on cause after a SB loss or victory, your team can easily fall or continue to rise. I see a team falling and Gettle is creating this aura around the Panthers that'll make players 2nd guess about coming to play unless they getting paid BIG bucks
