If the Panthers had sustained excellence, then all for loyalty and continuity

Fact is, they haven't

The  year they play lesser competition, they are above 500.

The year they play a first place schedule, they aren't .

What that tells me is sustained mediocrity is the order of the regime.

When better coordinators / coaches  are available, we keep what we have.

Like it or not, and trust me I don't, this is our reality. I don't think we are trying to be 'up and down' as an organization, but there's a fine line between continuity and complacency in the NFL.

I am sure that if it Gettleman, Rivera would be gently reminding him that we didn't give Shula the line or receivers he needs to run this offense. Add in injuries and this is what happened. Get a RB , TE, left tackle, and safety and let's see what we can do. If we suck again then everyone will be on the hot seat. And rightly so.....
