Well fellow race fans, yet another beautiful day at the track.

Sunny skies, cool temps, let's go racing.

I think track position is key today and this may be a fuel mileage deal. I hope not, but it's quite possible. Kansas seems to lean that way from time to time.

I look for the 48 (YES!!) to be strong but for some reason my gut tells me that we're gonna have some hangers on up there today that we ain't real used to.

I think the Chase gets some good separation in it today.

Thoughts?

Agree. He couldn't get thru the gears today for sh!t. I felt bad for him.

There for awhile i was afraid the damned fuel mileage was gonna play for a role.

Luckily, Junior put oil all over the track for us!! lol - thanks Junebug :)

JJ fell to 18 points back heading to cali next week. All in all, decent race but I was hoping the 48 would be leave on top.

    • I watched a clip of all the offensive snaps. Young threw into some tight coverage and the guys made some plays on the ball. He also really missed some throws.  He has this middle of the field thing into a tight window pretty good and made three or four nice plays but he was just too inconsistent with his accuracy especially in the red zone. Today and in general.    That Int where people were chastising Legette for ‘not fighting through the coverage’, he in no way could have gotten to that ball. IMO. I think he thought it was going to hit the ground and didn’t see the defender coming for it. But not sure what he could have done. The camera doesn’t show the spatial relationship very well, I think the ball was way off. maybe 6 feet or more off target to the inside of the field.  Rico is a beast. And a very good receiver.   That was my impression without dissecting and rewinding, just letting the video roll. I did rewind the int two or three times to look at that one.
    • My biggest issue with keeping Darnold, which I felt we should have done, is we would still have Fitterer. And everything that came with that.  I think Morgan is going to be good.  Baker, just did not play well at all here. Not sure what else we were supposed to take away from it at the time.  That’s my short ‘I don’t want to argue about it’ take.
    • Even if we somehow make the playoffs we will be one and done so fast. Seattle, Rams, TB, Panthers, Detroit and Philly are all better than us.
