No, you don't. It's simply a method of using players' abilities to your advantage. Saying the players have to have equal talent for it to work is just dumb.

That's the way I read it too. My response is the same no matter how you compare the talent level. You have one back that gets more carries because that's the way he's built, and one who gets more passes because he's more of a threat as a receiver.

CMC is not a 15 carry per game running back. Period. Good player and slot receiver, but NFL linebackers eyes light up when they see him get a handoff out of the backfield. I have never seen players fly to the ball faster then when CMC carries. CJ Anderson should be our primary back, with CMC playing a complimentary role, with the majority of his touches coming from the slot as he excelled there last year.

Don’t agree Give him 15 carries for a few games before you draw that conclusion. He’s much faster than c j

      I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
