Dante Wesley only suspended 1 game?

Suspension and game check fine seemed pretty fair to me. I don't feel there was any ill intent and I think Wesley's past play shows he's not a dirty player.

Strange that only those who hate the Panthers wish for his near crucifixion or removal from the NFL. I as a Panthers fan do believe that the penalty did not remotely compare to the crime, but there is also no doubt in my mind that Wesley's 8 clean years speak for themselves and warrant the leniency granted him. I personally think it was a cheap shot that should have ended his season and all pay for the year, but I see what the NFL sees in this situation and although I do feel differently cannot argue too greatly with their decision.
