Lots of info /  links to other teams.  Screw them, who cares.

here is the part about Conor Orr's fave to win it all;

• The Panthers are always good about releasing their jersey schedule before the regular season, and this year is no exception (additional info here):

It's also worth noting that the Panthers paired their blue alternate jersey with black pants -- a uni combo that had never been used before in team history -- for one of their preseason games. Reaction was mostly positive, so it wouldn't be surprising to see this look resurface during the regular season (here's some additional info and a photo gallery):

And in another preseason game, the Panthers tried another previously unseen uni combo: white jerseys with black pants. Interestingly, that look had shown up on a Starting Lineup action figure 20 years ago but had never made it onto the field until now:

Fun fact: Although last night's preseason game was the first time the Panthers have worn white-over-black on the field (left), there was a Starting Lineup action figure with that uni combo 20 years ago. Maybe it was something they were considering at the time but then abandoned.

 
 

Meanwhile: For years the Panthers have used the NFL shield as their midfield logo, but this year they're reportedly changing it to the team's primary logo. They stuck with the NFL mark during the preseason, but the switcheroo will supposedly be happening in time for the team's home opener Sunday.

      yeah, I think XL gets comical fan hate at this point.   did he have some drops? Sure.  He was basically in the same ballpark as Worthy, Coleman, Mitchell, etc. of the same draft class.  Rookies.  Happens.  His career began on a team that had horrific QB play.  Improved to meh QB play.   And finished with a couple random "good" games graded on a Bryce curve.  And it was literally just a couple.  Games where Not sure what people expect to happen in that situation and Bryce isn't the naturally pairing in terms of play style for a WR like XL (which we all acknowledged when we drafted him).  I think XL leads the team in yards this year actually.  I think father time officially catches AT this year.  I think Tmac will have some legit growing pains (which is also fine).

      Even if it's fluffed up, this team needs some confidence and optimism. I mean, look what happened to Bryce once he got his confidence back, he balled out. Sometimes if you just feel great about yourself, you'll play great.

      Ayton would have been a nice get but I didn’t think it was really possible he would come here.  He is from Cali and seems to prefer that part of he country
