I had a Facebook memory about him getting fired from fsu and being a fault fan, I want him back. A year from now could be the same poo here. Rivera will end up in either Denver, Arizona or Jets. I guess we gotta take a chance and if that fails, cam and Luke will be done.

here is the thing, the NFL is changing and the type of Coach it takes is evolving. The days of hard nose and complacent coaching is gone. Now it is about nurturing young men from their teenage years into men. It takes someone who can be a parentt, Coach and mentor. Look at the Rams, they got it right.

Some older coaches have realized this and have taken head, Andy Reid and the Patriots. It isn't about toughness anymore, the NFL took care of that it , is is about motivation. Honestly I saw this at the college level this year with Mike Norvell at Memphis. A team that was only considered to be mediocre at the start of the season to playing for the conference championship. Yes they lost but they believed in him and was the main reason for being there. This is the type of Coach the Panthers need. I predict someone will take him in the next year or two.

The Panthers have lived and died by the loyalty factor for to long and it is time for this team to be managed like a hedge fund.:)

However, those numbers aren't exactly stellar by NFL quarterbacking standards. Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down.       That thread has all the huddle legends either posting in it or mentioned in it. I remember everyone of those folks and I truly miss seeing them post here. This place was so much better with them here.
