because i posted a thread about 2 days ago saying i hope the panthers lose because if they hadda won last night they would have lost to them in the playoffs i just know it. I can almost guarantee we will see them again in ship game and just watch how they beat the giants. Another reason why im saying this is because the panthers have a tendency to lose big games to a team in the reg. season them beat'em in the playoffs when it really counts. just watch. it's almost like i already know. GO PANTHERS

I'll have to admit I saw your other post and just wrote it off as some dumbass posting bullshit. I was not in tune with your way of thinking....imagine wishing for your team to win a big game and have home field advantage.....how dumb and backward thinking of me. But, I'm down with it now, I believe in what you say. I believe so much I'm hoping we lose to N.O. so we have the worst possible odds of reaching the SB. There is no reason to hope for the best.....our team just can't handle it. We have to be underdogs or under the radar to succeed. I'm going to go ahead right now and THANK YOU for our SB victory.....because i know you already now the outcome. It's only because of your way of thinking that can make this happen. Can't wait for your "I told you so" thread. :grouphug:

I hate people who say "don't win the first one because you will lose the 2nd one." Can you imagine a f*ckin coach saying that to his players? Win every f*ckin game

Amen, don't tell me that you wouldn't want home field fugin advantage throughout the playoffs when we are PERFECT at home.

    • Bryce and Dave will determine how many games this team wins next year. It’s not on the WRs. The RBs. LBs. This is about 2 things: 1. Can Bryce continue to come up big in the few key downs that decide most games?  2. Can Canales evolve his play calling to counter punch like the big boys do. Half time adjustments.  teams that score 30+ points on the regular win more games than not. That’s on Bryce and Dave. The offense is top 10 at every position group, save for TE and QB. A baller TE is gravy but not crucial when the receivers are dudes.  The defense is the defense. It’ll be better this season, hopefully by a large margin, but Dave/Bryce is really where it’s at.
    • Normally I'd wholeheartedly agree with this. But I feel like teams figured out this offense after the Raiders game. Bryce was so inept the first 2 games that we couldn't really even run the offense. Dalton's first game showed what we had. But after that game, coverages got a lot tighter and windows were smaller. When Bryce came back in, his ability to extend plays made a big difference. It's really difficult to stop a QB that can beat/escape 1on1 tacklers. It puts a lot of pressure on the defense when you blitz. And he was completing throws in tight coverage with anticipation. Point being Bryce wasn't throwing to wide open receivers that were schemed open by the offense. Occasionally yes. But not often.
    • With the additions we've made to our roster combined with the state of the division and the conference as a whole there is no excuse for this team not to make a legitimate push for 8-9 wins. Anything less is honestly inexcusable. There will be no more free passes for being a doormat in this iteration of the league where even mediocre teams are competing for playoff spots.
