And none of those guys will win a SB. That’s the issue. Like Cam, those guys are “good enough” but they will always disappoint.

Without cmc, this team would never score. A championship caliber has a QB that is able to score without a generational running back.

One of those guys has never had a defense and will go to the HOF

I don't disagree that he is good enough to win, but please remember.... we got to that Superbowl with Cam RUNNING!  That's my point.  If you take away the threat of the run completely he's just OK.  Not horrible and ALMOST! good enough to win the Superbowl but not quite IMO.

He misses too many throws in crucial moments of the games.  If Cam is like the $5 that overdrafts a broke college kids bank account.  $5 isn't a lot of money but it is when you've only got $4 in the bank.  Other QB's miss throws too, but they don't miss the ones they HAVE to have.

it's too soon to tell bro.  Who's to say he's even done running...  it's one game.  This season will say a lot about it

The year Cam won the MVP was an outlier....take out that year , then take out his worse year and that is who Cam truly is.

While that's an interesting point I think it could be more indicative of what he COULD be with Run pass option and health.  Not very long ago EVERY opponent mentioned stopping Cam running the ball.  We've stopped him ourselves before the game even starts.  Its like Telling a prime Shaq that he can't dunk he can only shoot jumpers.

You're not wrong but its trending down though right?  Its like he's running less and less every year since 2015-16.  I get it because of the injuries but...

He's not washed, but I havent seen Cam make the throw Prescott just made in a long while unfortunately.

time will tell.  the 19' season is going to say a ton about where the panthers are going and what the right decisions are

So you want a 30 yr old QB with a history of shoulder injuries to run more....that sounds like a recipe for disaster.

I would agree it's trending down... but it should be trending down.  Cam can't run forever.  This part of his career was a part of the plan the entire time.  If he hits that samuel throw, we win that game.  Cam has done enough to earn the benefit of the  doubt for a week 1 game

You're 100% correct, but to me it sounds more like a recipe for another QB.  Again, if Shaq can't dunk and impose his size the answer isn't for him to become a 3 point shooter, the answer is to find another center.

Alright dude, honestly... I hate this argument.

"take out cam's mvp year and that's who he is"

alright dude, how about we take out YOUR best year you've ever lived of your life.  Your most successful year.  The year you bagged the most 8-10's and reported the most earnings to the IRS.   You can't just eliminate people's success.  That's the point of attaining success. TO BE REMEMBERED FOR IT.

So naw dude I think it's pretty clear who cam is.  It's tough to say what this year is going to look like but I'm not worried about what we saw from cam.

This is true, but we're BECOMING the Carolina IFs.  We always knew Cam couldnt run forever, but we (or at least I) hoped two things.

1.  That by the time that was true we had won the big game.  Close but no cigar

2.  That if we hadn't won the big one we had enough around him, and he had enough arm/smarts to eek one out for us

I don't see that happening.  I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think that I am.
