The Redskins won today, but quarterback Dwayne Haskins missed being part of the final kneeldown because he was taking a picture with some fans. Case Keenum took the snap (rookie) :)

The Falcons late season revival ran into a wall in Tampa. Massive Bucs DT Vita Vea actually had a touchdown catch in the contest.

Jets won again today too. Pretty badly shelled the Raiders.

The Eagles turned the ball over five times in a loss to the Seahawks.

Steelers benched Mason Rudolph. No word on who starts next week yet.

Aaand Jerry Jones made some comments that make some people think Jason Garrett might actually now be on the hot seat, specifically saying that the Cowboys special teams mistakes are "a reflection of coaching" and that with the talent the team has, he "shouldn't be this frustrated".

      It's not sustainable,  although he deserve credit for the win also, as he made clutch plays as he does with every win we have.

      As much as I would love to sit here and bash on Young.  I can't.   He is absolutely a part of this team winning.  He is the cool hand leading the offense along with the hammer, Rico.  He's making plays on 3rd and 4th downs, that are absolutely helping thus team win.  Is Bryce playing as well as we'd like? Nope. Although he had only 1 week off from a high ankle sprain.   No question he was 100% in the Greenbay game.  I'm not even sure where the team would find a clear upgrade over Byrce.  He is a leader.  In the 4th quarter, he has ice in his veins.  He is a part of why our team is enjoyable to watch again.  Without him, we wouldn't be winning.    Anyways.  Y'all enjoy yet another thread designed to tear down the man.

      Great article on all the Lil Canes attending their debutantes ball. Walt with a great breakdown of all the rookies, as always, and I'm a huge fan of his team coverage, he is truly a treasure, but as a fan of mixed metaphors and superfluous language which some might ignorantly refer to as a "run-on sentence" I never really understood what that mean or where to put the comma after a quote in the middle of a sentence, but holy poo Walt, this is a gem, "While there's a long road left in front of them left to determine whether or not they'll have that same success on the blue line again, the beginning stretch of the journey has been thrown a wrench, and the story on defense has been the emergence of up-and-comers forced into becoming lineup regulars." , bravo, take a bow, sir!
