Come on guys he's young and developing it takes time. Danielle Hunter is only 250 and it took two seasons until he became a full time starter and was wreaking havoc as a rotational guy. Burns is young and every bit the beast. He will be special for us just give him a chance.

Burns is listed 6'5 - 250 .. Burns is still only 21 .. Smith was 22 in his rookie season .. it is reasonable to think Burns next season, age 22 season, will be around 260 .. 265 .. up 10-15 lbs from this season ..

 

Burns is more 230

      At this point the Tepper's seem to be leading you around by the nose based on how much time you spend carrying water for them so I'm not surprised you're struggling. We are the only team who saw fit to install Andy Dalton with his zero career playoff wins as a culture cornerstone and a key mentor. Even the putrid Saints wanted no parts of that. Truth hurts 🤷‍♂️

      They have drafted two QB's since they took Hurts in the 2020 Draft. Tanner McKee(6th - 2023) and Kyle McCord(6th - 2025). In that span we have drafted Bryce Young(1st - 2023) and Matt Corral(3rd - 2022). Technically, we have invested significantly higher draft capital on QB's(albeit one less than they). It's not the investement that is the issue, it's the results. Corral was literally not a rosterable player with a THIRD ROUND PICK. We gave up a king's ransom for Bryce to basically get Davis Mills results(so far).

      No QB from the draft or free agency was going to change this being a losing season for us. I mean we’re rebuilding, everything we’re doing is meant to be for winning tomorrow.
