I am expecting a great divisional game. I think the Saints will be very focused on this game because of the recent history and it will be a revenge game for them. I look for the turnovers to be reduced. If Fujita is back, the holes for the RB's will be reduced. Look for Greer & Porter to cover Steve Smith MUCH better than David & Gay ever thought about doing.

Here's to an injury-free game. :cheers2:

The Panthers will win if we can score touchdowns early and have the running game close it out. The Saints will win if they get up by two scores at any point in the game. This means that the team that gets ahead first will win the game.

Turnovers are going to happen to both teams, unfortunately.

Pretty much. It's also extremely important we make zero mistakes on special teams.

The dolphins and the falcons both got up on the Saints early so the Panthers are gonna have to get up and continue to score to have a chance.

Our defense is much better than the Falcon's and the Dolphin's. If we get ahead, our defense should be able to hold them off somewhat while our ground game eats up the clock.

    • You are right. At the same time I don’t think people are watching games going come on Bryce put it on the ground or sail it OB or whatever. They just have trouble seeing him turning his 3 or four or five top games of 2025 into the weekly standard outing. Which you expect for the kind of money he will ask for (speaking for myself anyway).
    • In terms of comparing Pickett and Young's arm talent it's basically a push at best. Pickett is sitting at 6.2 yards per pass attempt for his career while Bryce sits at 6.0 Last season Bryce was 6.3 in yards per pass attempt. Only Justin Fields Spencer Rattler (both 6.2) Kyler Murray (6.0) 41 year old Joe Flacco (6.0) 44 year old Phillip Rivers (5.9) rookie Cam Ward (5.9) and Tyrod Taylor (5.8) had less pass yards per attempt than Bryce Young in his third season as a starter. Folks going around acting as if it is beyond the pale to say Pickett might have a better arm than Young are living in an alternate reality. You can choose to not believe your own eyes after 46 games but everyone else will acknowledge reality and move forward accordingly.
