This is our weakest positional group as a whole in my opinion. I think we are gonna give up alot of chunk plays through the air, Whitehead is a decent run defender but atrocious in pass defense. 

I have faith Shaq will be solid, and Chinn may eventually come along as a good hybrid player... But that group as a whole leaves alot to be desired. Without Kuechly I don't see any way we are able to mask this deficiency unless we wind up having a historically great pass rush this season. 

Maybe special K, Carter or Smith surprise us, but I'm not holding my breath.
