Personal opinion is that Westwood and Diani are a little redundant. I’d like to see more attacking players in the middle but for the past few years, regardless of the coach, they essentially prefer two CDM’s and one CAM (which we don’t even really have). Westwood would be fine as a lone CDM, as would Diani. But I’d want a better two way CM next to one of them along with a DP CAM. -

WESTWOOD REPLACED????? WHAAAAT He’s been nothing but solid since coming in. Manning and conducting the pivot position with ease. He’s a huge factor as to why we’ve allowed the 2nd least goals in the MLS. Apart from playing Pivot, he can roam from his position and still plays solid. -
It’s so obvious that we lack there, so anything else would be extremely disappointing. Was watching with spanish commentary last night and the commentators kept saying “If this Charlotte team could learn how to play and finish in the opposite end, watch out…”
