Seriously how the hell cn you win MVP on a losing team those players should automatically disqualified.

Matt Ryan

Rookie of the year maybe, but he's no where near the best QB in the league and with Turner getting the ball damn near 30 times a game he doesn't put the falgoons on his back.

Put in DeAngelo Williams.

Then make it Turner. No way is it Williams.

Turner has 103 more carries and only 154 more yards. DeAngelo has done more with less, and has 2 more rushing touchdowns and 2 more receiving than Turner.

If you say there is no way its Williams, then there is no way it's Turner.

Edit: Turner 2 fumbles, DeAngelo 0

even if that were to happen, that would only mean more votes to peyton manning, who would most likely win the thing.

the only reason why brees is still in the discussion for MVP is b/c if it won't for him, NO would be 1-14 right now. he is definately valuable to the team.

and matty ice shouldn't even be considered, unless he put up marino-like numbers this year.

but i think MVP should be voted on AFTER the super bowl, after the playoffs have finished. makes it more fair to evaluate a whole body of work

No way should someone who is so much less productive on the road such that he plays average to below average in about every single game ever win MVP regardless of the team's record. Consistency is part of why someone should be MVP IMO.

    • The blue line is a mess not collectively, but having to shuffle pieces just to get 3 D lines on the ice while playing three perennial contenders in 3 consecutive games without a break, there's not a lot of room for error.  Last night, there was literally not a single defensive pairing that had ever skated together before, either in the preseason or so far this season.
    • Yeah, I am just looking at our pass blocking stats and the Texans stats being similar, but our oline is way better than theirs IMO. I feel like there are at least 5 times a game 3+ guys come free on a pass rush for opposing teams vs. the Texans. I can't recall too many times I have seen multiple lineman get beat/blow their blocking assignment on the same play this season for us.
    • I agree Someone like CJ who throws one of the nicest balls and throws with anticipation and everything you want just protect him. He has Nico. All other resources should’ve gone into the OL Now with that said I don’t think Young’s numbers would be very far off from Stroud’s had he gone to Houston  I mean since the whole CJ giving Caleb that post game speech their numbers are pretty similar if I’m recalling correctly
