It's amazing how everyone bashes Davidson

Are you guys serious?

He was praised last year; when we were winning.

Why was Henning booted? This is unreal. Everyone talks out their asses on here. The one common denominator is Fox. Get him out of here and see what happens. I'm not saying Davidson is undeserving of some kind of criticism, it's just that most of the criticism toward him is misguided; mostly, reflected off of Fox's, for lack of a better word, idiocy.

Welcome to the Huddle....ask 100 people you get 200 opinions...so many here keep shouting at the wind one week and then flipping the next. Fire Fox, Fire Jake, Fire Peppers, Fire Hurney...just glad they arent running the show.

I see no flipping, those opinions are still swinging in full force after a win or loss

And they should be

This is nothing new. Glad you've found posts that fit your bill, but you must've missed the many many threads bashing Fox for tying up his coaches hands.

Who is going to run the ball when you are down 14-3 in the second half? Kind of standard procedure there, you throw the ball to comeback from a deficit like that.

Our first trip to the RedZone, 1st and goal. Wonder what the score would be if Davidson called 3 running plays versus 3 straight Delhomme failures.

    • It goes deeper than that for me. When I started watching the Panthers as a kid I fell in love with Mark Fields’ story during that SB run. He wore #58. Then TD wore it and kept the tradition of the being the soul of the Panthers. The next time someone wears #58 I hope brings that same spirit
    • T-Mac is a nickname, Tet is a shortening of Tetairoa. Like you said below... your name is Jonathan, I could see "Jonny" being considered a nickname, but Jon isn't a nickname, it's a shortening of Johnathan, see the difference? And if your mom named you Jonathan for it's biblical significance/meaning, because she was very religious, I think it would be different. T-Mac is Polynesian, so much in their culture has deeper meaning for them, particularly names.  So for his mom to feel this way, I highly doubt it's just because she likes the name Tetairoa and not Tet, it's much more likely than not to be because the name itself has a deeper meaning in their culture.   Particularly as T-Mac himself has often talked about how much his Polynesian heritage means to himself and his family. And no, I'm not saying all this because of how much he's my guy, if he was just "normal american" and his name was Jonathan and he didn't like fans calling him Jon, I'd probably just say tough poo.  It's that he's Polynesian and I know things like names have a much deeper meaning in their culture than they do in ours for the most part. For whatever it's worth, a quick google search.......
