What if Fox doesn't WANT to come back?

I would personally Move everything out of his house, rent the truck, and drive him to his next location.

He is currently building, or has just built, a HUGE house in the area. His family will be staying here no matter what happens to him.

The topic of Fox's contract was beat to death today on the radio. It was the whole "lame duck" talk. Does this all have to do with 2011, or is it a way to "fire" him without actually doing so (if he takes another job)? Is it a sign to him that we don't want him here (having announced it's up to him to return, yet not offer an extension)? If he performs well here next season, that may not even be enough to keep him on since there was no extension (or can he audition for another team by making the Playoffs).

If he performs poorly here next season, what a waste that would be knowing you're out. Also, how will the players react knowing he'll most likely not be back? And our other coaches...what if they're offered long contracts elsewhere with a team that has a coach in place? What if Fox leaves or is gone after next year and the next head coach clashes with the likes of a Davidson?

It'll be an interesting off season.

Maybe JR figures signing one bozo to a big contract extension was enough for one year.
