It will probably be cold. It's January and we're heading into a cold weather pattern.

From 9 days out, that's about as close as we can get it.

Yes, I am a meteorologist and yes, I am being honest with you.

Full disclosure: a forecast linked above is from the company I work for.

It's supposed to be chilly one more day,then we get more of that wimpy mild weather for about 5 days,then it gets seasonably chilly just in time for the game,as far as real winter weather,I don't see it in the 10 day forcast from weather.com.I'm hoping for real winter weather,snow would be nice,but I'm not holding my breath.

Perfect weather for the Cardinals to come to town. Did you see them fold in New England two weeks ago? They want no part of being cold and wet. Now I have another reason to root for them to beat Atlanta (assuming Philly beats Minnesota).

      Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too

They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents

      Moved to Tuesday, not Wednes because of scheduling with Flyers game or something in Philly. But I don't feel good about the Heat.  It has been a great season regardless.  Team just been playing so hard to move up since a bad start and just picked a bad time to get gassed.  It's like almost everyone is shooting cold at the same time even wide open shots.   Maybe atmosphere and playoffs kick off a spark.  I'd rather be in a series than a one and done though. The team has a good foundation to build on regardless of what happens.
