if you wanna blame anything on defense youll have to factor in that every int put the tired defense back on the field .. we were fine on kicking game , running game , it was turnovers that dropped morale .. caused by none other than jake delhomme

Figures that is all you could muster up. When you have something to contribute other than wasting our time trying to look cool on the internet then you should come back and post. Until then, you have some growing up to do.

So we cut the dead weight; Don't see what the problem is here. Peppers apologists don't want to hear it but it's pretty obvious Peppers's attitude wasn't well-received by the rest of the team.

The defense was average at first because we had a new defensive coordinator. And you're kidding yourself if you don't think the Panthers were a 10 win team without Delhomme. With a qb like Delhomme at the helm, it's amazing how efficient the running-game was. If I'm not mistaken, the Panthers were the first team since the merger to have two 1,100 yard backs. And as someone stated earlier, any lapses in defense during mid-season could easily be attributed to Delhomme's inability to hit his own teammates with a pass.

Fair enough. But let's not forget that you were an 8-8 team because you basically got a win handed to you by the Saints. Had anything been on the line for the Saints, you could easily have been a 7-9 team.
