We may have given up a lot for Bryce, which puts more pressure on the whole trade to work out, but it's coming around. If he plays like a top 15 QB, we can build a team around him. The CMC trade brought us the picks needed and looks like with his injuries to be the right call. A helluva talent, but injury prone. We also did the right thing a not giving Burns the big money as he's done nothing big. Yes, trading with the Rams would have been the biggest robbery of the century but even getting a 2nd was good (we would have only gotten a 3rd as compensation anyway). Those picks shaped what we did and what we are doing and if bryce continues to be better, we have a QB for at least next year and we can see what happens. He did not lose today's game and without Sanders and Coker he didn't have all his weapons and still almost pulled it out. Trust in Morgan and watch Canales get them all on the same page and playing like a team. A few more signings and one more draft and we can be a playoff team (if we kept playing like we have the last few games). Hope! Keep Pounding!

      Another thread where the Huddle melts down over a Bryce comment.  "Conversations" and "Bryce Young has been signed to a new long-term contract" are still far away from being the gospel.  For a fanbase that has watched two top-3 drafted QBs come here, and us move on, only to see them elevate their play elsewhere, I find it comical. Bryce is flawed but this org is damned if you do and damned if you don't with BY9.  Why would our GM and HC say anything other than supportive about their QB1. Yes, he's extended, but I truly do not think if he goes out and has a repeat of the previous seasons, that he is here beyond 2027. They're giving him every opportunity and surrounding him with a ridiculous amount of assets on both sides of the ball. If he continues to pitch 110 yd/ game and cough up the ball while everyone else is busting their ass, no way Dan keeps him beyond the extension.

      Ooof, I was not a Proctor fan. I agree w/ a lot of smarter folks than me that he's more of a guard and think his weight fluctuation is going to be something to navigate. I liked Lomu a lot, but figured there would be more talented guys there at 19. I also wasn't big on bringing in a TE via the draft. If it's not a vet (Njoku) or a trade for Mayer or Kmet, I'd just as soon see what the youngsters have. No need cluttering the room with more of the same.

      Sam Darnold & Bryce Young are two very different Qbs ..just saying the last 25 years approximately 2/3 of ALL  first round Qb's  in the NFL were or are bust.so for everyone who makes it like a Sam Darnold you have two that don't make it or are a bust
