Some more NFC South stats I dug up.

The only points and arguments anyone made was that we have a slightly better win percentage and less double digit loss seasons than anyone else so that must make us the best team in the south. Those are not valid arguments to distinguish us from the rest of the division. :

Fact: The bucs and falcons have had more winning seasons than us.

Fact: The bucs and saints have each won a super bowl and in the bucs case have won more division titles

All four teams are relatively close in wins and losses. The deciding factor shouldnt be who had the least amount of double digit losses. 7-9 is not much better than 6-10 and the panthers have had several of those. The REAL deciding factor is championships wether your blind homer fandom allows you to accept that or not that is reality.

You just said it yourself; the teams are close. Your argument that championships set the teams apart is somewhat valid, but that still doesn't make the Panthers irrelevant.

Do me a favor and show me where I said the panthers were irrelevent. You're changing the subject now. I simply said the panthers werent the best team in the division especially based on the argument that was given. Never once said they havent been relevant.

There were parts of our defense and offense that were good. The running game should still be good but we dont know enough about the new receiving core to say they will be good too. Defensively no matter what anyone thinks we are definitely worse without Peppers and harris. I expect our secondary to take a big step back with a struggling defensive line and without the presence of Harris who was the leader of the unit. People who want to dismiss how good those two players were are only in denial

I loved both Peps and Harris and was devastated watching them go, but Sherrod Martin and Everette Brown both had some nice flashes last season, and could possibly step up to the job. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
