...is the best player in the game.

38 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals, and 3 blocks tonight against the Celtics. Bron's putting up the same numbers he's been putting up the past, but this year he's hitting his FTs and playing even stronger defensively (he held Paul Pierce to 11 points tonight). Cavs have the best record in the league right now even with their starting center Big Z being out. No question King James is the MVP of the league. Bobcats saw firsthand Wednesday night.

KT- I've been meaning to start the same thread for some time now. I still like Kobe more, and would rather him have the ball with the game on the line, but Lebron is without a doubt the best player in the world. And the scary thing is that he is probably 3 years from hitting his prime. Plus he keeps getting bigger. They say he is up to 275lbs now!!! With a 40 in vert!!! What a freak!!!

Alas, the Finals are won by the better team.

Wait, since when? Oh that's right, you can't just stockpile stupid amounts of talent and win. It's about great teamwork. Together the team is greater than the sum of their parts.

Oh wait, Boston did it.

I miss 1990's NBA. :(

LeBron James scores 30 points, grabs 11 boards, and dishes 10 assists for his 2nd triple double of the season and 19th of his career (as well as 3 in the postseason) leading the Cavs to their 30th win of the year. To put it in perspective, Kobe Bryant has 14 career triple doubles. Michael Jordan finished his career with 28.

    • Idk man, I think it’s necessary.  There’s people working 9-5s everyday that get told poo about what they aren’t and what they’re not capable of and they’re working for scraps.  These guys are making millions.  People are watching and invested because their team and fandom is a part of their identity and a big source of pride.  When someone like Bryce comes in and is given chance after chance after chance after proving he is not worthy of the position he’s being gifted, and he continues to be the biggest reason above any that we are losing, yeah…  I think it’s fair to call a spade a spade.  Am I saying Bryce the person is trash?  Bryce the person is a piece of poo?  Absolutely not.     I came up in an era, especially in basketball, where if you were fuging up people heckled the poo out of you.  I played in rec leagues as a teen where the fuging parents were calling kids trash and yelling poo like “TURNOVER!!!  TURNOVER!!!”  “CANT DRIBBLE!”  “CANT SHOOT!”  And that’s adults screaming that poo to kids like we were in the fuging Rucker lol.🤣🤣🤣  I went on to play basketball at a collegiate level and with professional players in different settings.  What those experiences as a kid taught me was to see if there is any merit to what people are saying, and if there is, then work my ass off til they can’t say that anymore.  Come back better, tougher, harder.  And I did.  If kids can figure that poo out, an adult calling another adult who is bad at his job while making millions and millions of dollars will be just fine.
    • I have tried to like this team, lord knows I have tried. BY9 is a nice young man, if I had a daughter he can take her to prom, but he ain't QB1 and he's not Cam or Delhomme Chuba is a average RB, he isn't Stephen Davis, he isn't J-Stew McMillan has the makings of a good WR, but he isn't 89/Moose D. Brown is a great player, but if the game was on the line I want Kris Jenkins       I miss this brand of football, even in the bad Jake games the games were entertaining It has been nearly 8 years now of watching numb football
    • I'm not so sure. Something about the whole Frank/Bryce situation seemed off from day 1. Bryce didn't fit Frank's QB mold as well as Stroud, then he basically gives up when Bryce is named starter in preseason but gets virtually no reps in games. Then he looks completely unprepared and Dalton steps in in Seattle, has a decent game under immense pressure, and it's right back to Bryce. All his mechanics are terrible and he's having the worst rookie season ever and Frank doesn't bench him?  You dont have to be a conspiracy theorist to know Bryce wasn't ready to be a day 1 starter. Everything with Bryce, then coaches, and the FO seemed forced.
