MY list for top Rushing Attacks in 2010...

LT and Bush are in the same boat. They're effective if they don't have to carry the load.

Bush is a bust because he was drafted #2. In a pass heavy offense with other backs to do the dirty work he can be a valued contributor. They need to get him to a new contract if they haven't already. If he's playing on his original that's just redonkulous.

I think they'll just keep LT as a very good reserve option. He can still be like the old LT if he's fresh. They'll probably use him a lot in the redzone to keep him happy.

Theres no old L.T. fresh when you cant take advantage of a meltdown defense lol.

Shon Greene was not better than Thomas Jones, no, maybe in the playoffs, that was like 2 games, that's like saying Matt Moore games in the 2009 season and Kevin Kolbs 2 games in 2009 season. Too few games to base consistencey off.

He had what like 6 carries a game, Willie Parker had 389 yards with a few less carries, so IMO Greene is nothing special since Parker wasn't, and now teams have figured out the jets new playbook and the possibility of passing it more to develop Sanchez who will never be great lol.

@Henne Given Sunday yeah, Miami should be a top 3-5 rushing attack, ricky williams ran for over 1000 yards in what 8 games? Ronnie Brown is decent as well...

Tomlinson is more or less going to be used in the passing game I'm pretty sure. Yeah, he may get some carries, but he'll mainly be another threat on the screen play.

Shonn Greene always had considerably more burst than Thomas Jones. Jet fans were calling for him to be put in for a good while last season. I'm not trying to hate on Jones, because I like the guy, and I like what he brought to the Jets. But he was just slowing down last season, most likely due to age.

Parker had a 4.0 YPC average. Greene had a 5.0, and 5.6 in the post season.

The Jets are only signed Tomlinson because they were inadequate of their other players.

There offseason moves smell... infact reeks of desperation, half the players they signed this season or last wont be on the roster in the 2012 season. I bet you that. There just trying to get to the Super Bowl as fast as they can, but that aint going to happen.

So, he had 140 yards less, that's not a lot and Parker didn't do very well until his last game against the Dolphins, Greene is overrated.

With Faneca gone, That total is going to roll downhill, same effect as it had on the Steelers, he will be missed, and they better hope Mangold doesn't hold out either or their season is over lol.

I hate the Chargers but I would LOL if they won the super bowl whilst Ladainain Tomlinson is on the Jets roster, infact I hope that happens.

Again look for next season to See Rex Ryan who thinks he is such a great defensive co-ordinator fail to stop the wildcat and then blame it as a gimmick offense because he didn't stop it.

Who cares what Greene got in the post season, The Chargers are a crap run defense last season Willie Parker ran for 146 yards.... and he was out injured all year...

Mendenhall's first full start 165 yards... If I was Charger fan that day, I wouldn't be impressed.
