Canales was never a good coach. He was a bad OC in TB. He had their offense in the bottom third of the league, dead last in rushing. Liam Coen took over and they’re top 5 in points, passing, and rushing. He certainly isn’t a head coach, and he’s not a good OC either -

I'm going off what I've read from the Chiefs in the past. They certainly had way better ownership than us (the Hunt family) and neither Reid nor GM Brett Veach is known for being authoritarian. Hell, What reporters were shocked A while back when I asked to read about a personnel situation and he deferred to Veach. So no, nothing I can say definitively. The one thing I do feel comfortable saying about Tepper in that he's been publicly embarrassed by the team's results. And I genuinely believe that's an effective motivational thing for him.
