Da'Mon Cromartie Smith anyone?

First off, I would like to state this is just for conversation purposes and there is probably no way he would end up in Charlotte.

Da'Mon Cromartie Smith was released today by the Pittsburgh Steelers per Rotoworld

Anyway, Da'Mon Cromartie Smith was a safety at UTEP (University of Texas at El Paso) and he preformed very well in his only year of college football. However, he is known more for his name rather than his skills. He is the cousin of Dominique-Rodgers Cromartie of the Arizona Cardinals and Antonio Cromartie of the New York Jets. Being from the Cromartie family there is no doubt that he can play football. In his only year of college football he recorded 106 tackles and 1 sack. I listed his college career stat line below.

Note: He did not play in two games last year because he was injured.

The Panthers are carrying mediocre safety's at best behind Sherrod Martin and Charles Godfrey, so why not bring in Da'Mon Cromartie Smith to compete with Aaron Francisco, Marcus Hudson, Jordan Pugh, and Matt O'Hanlon.
