I could have put this in the other TT thread but i thought it should have one of it's own. Let's keep this guy in Charlotte. He's one of the good ones.

Tyrus Thomas Tyrus Thomas will receive the prestigious national Nobel Prize for public service, the Jefferson Award as the Tyrus Thomas, Incorporated (TTI), a non-profit organization was founded by Baton Rouge native, Tyrus Thomas, in 2009. Growing up in South Baton Rouge, Tyrus was keenly aware of the lack of financial and educational resources, as well as adequate role models, in his community. When he was blessed to play in the NBA, he decided to give back so that, "…kids from his community would have the chance to live up to their full potential despite circumstances weighing them down."

He's had his problems in Chicago, but from what I've seen/heard he seems to be an outstanding character guy. I'd be proud to have him in a Bobcats uniform.

This is the guy that IMO should have been the Morrison pick. Glad to see he's with the organization. Could be a nice building block going forward.

    • Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.
    • I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.
    • Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
