Played Golf This Morning

First time in 3 1/2 years. I finally decided to say screw it and head out. I only played 9 holes, but from the tips I shot a 42. I was pretty pleased that my driving and iron play was solid, but I my putting was horrendous.

Anyways, I guess it's time I start playing some more golf. I actually enjoyed myself and didn't get angry even once. :P

3 1/2 years? Damn I thought I was doing bad... I played Sunday for the first time in a month... shot 86 with a quad bogey on #13.

We still need to have a huddle tourney... who's gonna set it up?

I used to have a really bad temper problem when I played. Golf was something I was very good at, and it bothered me tremendously when I didn't perform to my fullest.

An 86 isn't bad at all. Take out the quad and that's a damn good round for not having played regularly. I'd like to do a huddle tournament. Someone get on this!

Yeah, I was playing once a week at the start of the summer and shooting low 80's pretty regular... then it got hot and I got busy at work and it dropped off.

I have a temper too, but I've taken the "one hole at a time" approach to golf in the last couple of years and it's really helped my scoring. If I could putt I could break 80 easily.

Tell me about it. God my putting was horrendous today. It was so bad I couldn't even get mad!

I also take the one hole at a time approach. Now that I'm playing for nothing though, it's a little easier on me.

And your Avatar is gorgeous. Who is that?

OK, so what's up with a huddle tourney... we need to get SouthCakPanther involved... he and I have discussed this before.

I'm sure Zod would be willing to sponsor it...

The chick in the av is Shyla Jennings, my new girlfriend... :D

    • Sure if you just blindly look at stats, you can pinpoint a couple areas that look similar. But come on man that's lazy analysis. Instead of throwing lower percentage throws, Dalton held onto the ball unconscionably long, leading to several of those sacks including that unthinkable one at the end of the first half, inflating his completion percentage. Bryce for all his flaws, does a pretty good job of escaping pressure and scrambling for 5 yards or throwing it away. Dalton's pocket presence was just so incredibly bad today, which led to both of his lost fumbles. If Bryce would just hold onto the ball and get sacked every 3rd play instead of throw it away or try a contested pass, his completion percentage would be 15 points higher than Dalton's today. And Bryce only had more yardage in 3 of 7 games? You mean when we played run heavy schemes in our wins, instead of Dalton being forced to throw all game cause we're getting blown out?  Look anyone is more than justified in arguing Bryce Young doesn't have the tools to lead this team to a super bowl. But he has been head and shoulders better this year than what Dalton showed today. That was just an abysmal perfomance.
    • 100% correct.    we also have a team that is completely incapable of responding to adversity. The first sign of trouble and the team just unravels. I think that says a lot about coaching more than anything. It can also be explained with the amount of youth we have playing key roles on offense and defense.
    • He's not elevating anyone around him and will never be that kind of qb. He is what he is. He will always need a good team around him to play his best. His best is not a game changer but game manager. If you accept that then you will understand what the outlook is going forward.
