Cards clicking at right time, Panthers not

Maybe it was the bye week or the fact that you're panthers were flat out emotionally drained from the strong finish, maybe both, but I don't think there was anything different the panthers could have done to win the game.

Like last years Giants team, they were never favored to win there playoff games but they got every break imaginable, and were good enough to win out.

Your panthers proved they are one of the elite teams in the league this season but only one team can call themselves the best and don't be suprised if it's the Cards.

The blame is solely on our QB. You can't win with 5 interceptions. The Carolina Panthers are good team except for Jake Delhomme. If we had a top notch QB, we would be unstoppable.

If the panthers had Warner and the Cards had Delhomme, yall would be trashing Warner right now.

No, because if we had Warner, we probably would have won.

Not. Delhomme is a damn good qb but streaky. He's plays with emotion which I can only imagine is a dangerous mix with those cards recievers.

Point is, momentum plays a huge role and the Cards had more last night, and I expect will have more next week possibly playing in front of they're home crowd.

The Cardinals won and congratulations to them, but I am still not impressed with them. I don't see them going to the SuperBowl.

Eagles and Giants both handled Arizona this season. No way should Arizona be a favorite to win against either of them. AZ probably has a better chance at home against Philly though.

How many NFL fans will cry if the SB matchup is SD & AZ?

Or for that matter, the Eagles and SD?

    • No, you're right. It doesn't mean you can't call out his flaws and poor play. But it also doesn't mean you can't admit when he plays well and shows improvement. Not you personally, just in general I mean.
    • I will say, I do think there's a version of Bryce that could be really successful as a high-volume passer in a spread-based offense built around quick throws and timing-based intermediate throws with deeper throws schemed up around them. I actually think the power run based offense we're running is a poor fit for Bryce as it requires him to play under center far more often. It's a very traditional offensive approach whereas I think a scheme that spreads defenses out and lets Bryce distribute the ball quickly with anticipation and accuracy is the sweet spot for him. The key, of course, is to find a way to run the ball efficiently out of those formations. Our personnel right now (backs and OL) aren't good fits for that style of offense and I'm not sure it's a scheme Dave Canales favors very much either.
    • I root for him, and I hope for the best, as does essentially everyone. But that doesn’t mean you can’t call out flaws and bad plays. And that’s what a lot of people get wrong.  I hope I’m wrong and that he continues to improve a lot, I just doubt it. But I’ve been wrong before
