TV Shows: New Epidsodes and Reruns

are shows starting and stopping randomly or is it just me?

Burn Notice just started back in June, where'd it go?

Rules of Engagement started up randomly about a month or so ago, and gone? it wasn't coming on back when "how I met your mother" was on.. then towards the end, it started coming on.. for about a month.

there are a few other shows that I can't think of...

seems the writers strike screwed all the programming up, naturally.. so I figured the scheduling would restart with the spring/summer season shows.. doesn't seem to have happened.. or is this DVR screwing me up when missing commercials that have these explanations?

A lot of shows seem to be switching from the traditional full-length season of 8-16 weeks to the shorter bi-annual "mini-season" format of 4-8 weeks.

Burn Notice was off last week probably because of the 4th of July...the only reason I can think of....It's back this week.

Razzy, that sounds about right.. some shows have had new episodes and then randomly a few reruns are thrown in.

Jangler, you could be right, it just seems Burn Notice has been off for over 2 weeks..

Just trying to make sense of "what it seems".. By all means, I haven't tracked all of this, that would require too much work.

All USA programming was on hold last week, as was most summer stuffz.
