i don't know why i even go to the verizon store. all they ever seem to do is pull up the website, which I can navigate without their help. they want to put all the stipulations of the fine print on me. they say its buy one fascinate get a fascinate free instead of any phone free, and that is supposed to be for new lines.

well i had already looked at all that on the website, and knew that i could get the 2 fascinates deal. no news there. i want the ANY phone deal that the whole country saw yesterday during pretty much every game. store is like, huh? they also say my corporate discount won't apply to the data. BS again. I can create an order, and when I get to the page for selecting plan features it says data will only be 23.99 instead of 29.99.

They also won't apply the discount to my wife's line even if we put data on it. Used to be it applied to any line that went over 35 bucks. Now they say only the primary line. Her company gets a discount too so i'm thinking of splitting us back up, and ending the family plan. If I stay with them.

thats what i'm thinking. looking at their site and at wirefly. just put an order together on wirefly, and unless verizon changes when i call customer service tomorrow that is where i'll be buying from. An X and an Incredible for the wife with screen protectors for both comes in at just under $280 with free standard shipping.

that's what pisses me off about verizon. anytime theres a promotion, theres some reason they won't let me take advantage of it.

I've about gotten mine 80% to where I need it to be.

Overclocking it and then setting the kernel to "on demand" speeds the poo out of it, then eases the battery usage. Teh. Awesome.

I hear you KK... their commercial did say buy a Fascinate and get ANY phone free, I saw it too...

I was in there last night with my wife getting her new X setup... the Fascinate is a pretty cool phone. Very similar to the iPhone style wise.
