Upgrade to Adobe Photoshop CS5

We've got a license of CS2 and want to go to CS5, I found an upgrade version on Buy.com that's WAY cheaper than the full version, so my question is this... when you install the "upgrade" to CS5, is it essentially just the full version of the new software and you have to have the codes for the old version to activate it, right?

Surely you don't have to install CS2 and then upgrade it to CS5 right?

Yeah, the CS5 upgrade is good for CS2, 3, or 4.

I just found out that it is actually "upgrade" software. You have to have CS2 installed and then install the upgrade... oh well, it'll save almost $400 so I'm doing it...

...and yes, this is for a professional use, so I don't *** around with that.

Yeah, for our applications, we only use about 10% of photoshop's actual ability... I'm mainly going to CS5 in this instance because of it's 64-bit capability. This new PC we're getting will have Windows 7 Pro 64-bit on it with 12GB of RAM, an SSD for a boot drive and SATA drives for storage. I needed a 64-bit version of photoshop to take advantage of all of that... plus our other image processing software will also run in 64-bit. We're thinking this will take a big bite out of some of our processing time.

I just ordered that PC and bunch of new hardware stuff today, so hopefully I'll know how it all works in a few weeks.

    • My tailoring green idea was not for him to be the starter but to add some value beyond just a developmental quarterback I think size speed is something Bryce doesn't have he has those and would immediately feel the fourth and one package and possibly red zone and some power packages for us
    • Do you have against Willis I believe you're around when we have the draft with corral and Willis were on the board and me personally I was banging the table for Willis as early as round one but a lot of people thought corral was better but it's amazing with a little coaching and time can do with me I always go with potential and upside versus oh the guy just plays football you know sometimes that's not enough
    • I know or needs and this probably isn't with a lot of people want but if he's available at 19 I don't think you can discount that he would be the best player on the board I think with 43 speed he's as fast as leggette. 63240 something he would stretch the field  Strike fear over the middle of opposing linebackers and also probably cure our long time history of no serviceable tight end since Greg Olsen I think a lot of needs like tackle maybe linebacker could be filled and free agency to the point like they did last year where we fix a lot of this and draft the best player we can on the board.  After his combine and the numbers in the 43-in vertical I'm not sure that he will be available but if he is I bet that he's highly considered what say you
