Sadly, plenty of huddlers don't understand practice squad logistics.

Yeah, saying to put him on the practice squad is completely retarded. There is no way a 3rd round pick clears waivers. Even if he did, being on the practice squad doesn't protect him from other teams. He can sign with any team for their 53 man roster at any point in the season. Then we would have wasted that 3rd round pick, plus next years 2nd round pick on absolutely nothing. For that reason, he will be on the 53 man roster, on the inactive list every week.

I cant even imagine how much this kid has going on right now. He is the last person who wants to let anybody down, he wants to prove that what he did at App State wasn't only because he was playing D2.

FCS is not D-2, it's the old DI-AA but your point is spot on.
