Awesome thing I witnessed at the game

Certainly not our play

We were in section 507, row 17. At the beginning of the game 2 guys are trying to drag a handicapped man up the stairs, and they were not really accomplishing much but dragging the guy very slowly. Another fan in a lower row picks the handicapped guy up and carries him up to his seat, which was well past my row. I just thought that was awesome, he carried a guy he didn't even know up to his seat! At the end of the game, yes, we stayed til the bitter end, he got him and carried him all the way down. That guy rocks!

like a fireman's carry?

i always thought the handicapped seats had to be handicap accessible, right? its pretty much taunting them to sell them a seat they cant get to

I guess so, he kinda threw him over his shoulder. These were definitely not handicapped seats at all, they were close to the top or at the top of 507. Apparently anyone can buy handicapped seats so I suppose he couldn't get handicapped tickets.

I've always though the same thing - how many times do you hear people who are able-bodied and sitting in the WC row or have an extra in the WC row they are selling. That makes absolutely no sense to me.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
