Killer show (no pun). Discribes snipers stories and incredible long rang shots during battles in wars. Some unbelievable shots. World record: 1.5 mile kill shot with a 50 cal. bullet.

(show for those who still possess their man cards only)

Yeah I saw that too. Great show. Snipers kick ass. Not only the long range shots were awesome, but the one where the guy mowed down like 30 guys over a few days was kick ass.

That was incredible. These guys did things that I thought was impossible.

Carlos Hathcock, Marine sniper and famous/infamous for his exploits during Vietnam is my guess for the guy mowing people down over a period of time.

I'm not sure if the piece refers to Canadian sniper Furlong's near 1.5 mile shot, or this one done recently by a British sniper.

Both shots are amazing.

I think it was the Canadian sniper for the World Record, but he ran out of Canadian 50 cal bullets and did it with a more wind resistant U.S. 50 cal bullet

Furlong broke a long standing record in Afghanistan, and then the British sniper broke that one just this year.

Makes me think the heights of Afghanistan may produce further record breakers.

The show I was watching today was a couple of years old and was talking about the record set in Afghanistan. I haven't seen the British sniper story yet.

They were saying that the higher altitude and thinner atmosphere produces less wind resistance for longer accuracy.

    • First of all, loved this video. I watched last night.   I normally not one to do, I told you so's,,,,, Most around here hated the fact Dan Morgan was promoted to GM.  In my eyes, he had paid his dues, and had earned the opportunity to run a team.  I dont know how anybody can be against him at this point.  He lives and breathes football.  He absolutely is the right man for the job.  I also have to give him credit for bringing Dace C, and Tillis.  This franchise has the best front office it has ever had, IMO.  And under Teppers ownership.     Keep pounding Dan.
    • He’s blowing up with the ladies on the tikitok
    • I met him at an OTA when he was rookie.  I liked him, and so did my small children.  I got a photo of him with my kids, and his nylon stretch shirt was ripped off his shoulder and down his side.  I remember thinking, "This was an OTA.  He must have been battling so hard (going full speed) that the OT grabbed him and ripped off his shirt."   Normally, there is a "rule" that you stop when you are not in full pads when the other player shows that he controlled you or is in position to--like pulling up and not hitting the RBs.  I got the feeling that he was going full throttle.  Just speculation, but it was consistent with what we would learn about him.
