Why I don't feel too bad after this loss, in fact slightly pleased.

After the Bucs game, I resigned myself that it is a rebuilding season and the next season the Carolina Panthers play will be under a new coaching staff.

so because of that, all I am looking for is positives for the future of the franchise.

Jimmy Clausen looked pretty good IMO, the bobbled snaps are an issue but that may have to do with the weather but that seems like an issue that can be corrected. Other then the shaky start he made some good throws in the second half and got it to other people not named Steve Smith. We already knew he has the physical tools, and he showed the mental toughness to me. Plus he is a rookie QB, I give him a 2-3 games to grow into the role.

Goodsen, going to be an electric player I think we can all see that.

The secondary was playing better, there were a lot of nice pass break ups, ints, near ints.

sure there are things to work on, but I am just going to look at the season like this small victories that hopefully will make for our future success, because if I tried to look at it as just this season I would not be having a very good time.

hopefully that made sense to someone.

edit: I am also on pain killers so that may explain something.
