Is HALO coming to reality?

I don't play HALO or any game for that matter. (I would spend 24/7 if I were to start.) But I know enough from watching the commercials to knoa that the warriors have battle armor.

Now the military has this!

Still looks bulky. I would rather take my chances without it in order to retain mobility and be able to carry as much ammo as I see fit. I do hope the future models are light enough to negate this issue. Our boys deserve the best advantages we can give them...

I don't like the idea of exosuits and never have. Technology has many applications in warfare, but it does one thing best of all - breaking. Plus, if we can't even afford top-grade body armor for our boys, much less proper armor for our vehicles, how the hell can we afford exosuits? Misappropriation of funds, just like so many military pet projects before it. *cough*Osprey*cough*

When I was in the 5th SFG, they were gonna have us train with the Osprey due to it's flexibility and payload capacity.

We were in the field at the pick up area and the bird came in and promptly crashed on it's landing attempt. Our team leader looked at us and calmly said "well boys, looks like were gonna need another ride."
