The Panthers Leading reciever in 2010?

Well it looks like my boy Gettis is going to be our number 1 receiver, and while this is more of a comment on the sorry state of or receiving core it's pretty substantial for a guy who a lot of people on this board thought was surley bound to the PS.

Gettis might be our best reciever and might very well be a dominant reciever in the NFL down the line but right now on a team with good options he would probably be relegated to the 5th or 6th spot.

Dwayne Jarret is cut after this year. Lafelle has been so underwhelming its silly. And Edwards might very well pleaseantly suprise some people but like our other two rookies he needs a year or two.

With Smith hurt the leading candidate for number #1 receiver in 2010 might very well be Mike Goodson. And while it is almost certain that the Panthers have the worst receiving core in 2010 the real question is if it is the worst recieving core in the last ten years, or perhaps all time?

the kid has potential for sure. too early to tell if he could ever become a legit number one wideout, but it's safe to say he could develop to a number two or three.
