Hardly worth asking oldsters "if they watched_____" We watched everything. There was only 3 channels. lol.

Although, when Dukes of Hazzard was big, i never really saw it that often. We couldnt pick up CBS at that time...and to think if CBS went out for 10 minutes these days. People would riot. hah

Not a bad show, but they need to kill Dano, he is nothing but a whiny bitch and is starting to make the show unwatchable.

I love the show. Grace Park is always in some kind of skimpy outfit every week. Pilot, the bad guys made her strip down to her undies, then the next show, she was wearing a tiny bikini. I swear the writers & Producers push the sensors on how much flesh they can show of her!

As for Dano, you have to understand a few things. 1) He's from the mainland, New Jersey. (Automatic dislike, from the locals.) 2) He wears a shirt and tie. (The majority of people in Hawaii who wear a shirt and tie are military officers. They tend to have a superior attitude to themselves. Automatic dislike, from the locals.) 3) There a strong contingent of locals who would love to see Hawaii withdraw from the US and become a sovereign nation again. Locals love the tourist dollars, but are also happy when they leave. (It's kind of like people from New York being down here in the South! New Yorkers are always ready to tell everyone how things worked in NY, and Southerners don't really give a S***!)

I this the show works well that Dano and Magarette (sp) don't get along.

I can't help compare the show to a mix of the old 5-0 and Miami Vice.

I get the dynamic of the new Dano. And I think some of the animosity between Dano and McGarrett is their age, Very close to the same age and yet McGarrett is his boss, coming out of nowhere. But he needs to move on and get used to a little quicker. f'in bitch :)

I think Dano is the reason I still watch it... cut him out and it gets boring.. you have McGarrett who is the typical run of the mill "cop star", which bores me without their dynamic.. the other cast members don't steal the show.. Dano is the glue that holds it together.. IMO

I don't see him as a whiny bitch.. he's more of a smart ass who is out of his environment..

then again, I am desensitized to cop shows.. there is a f'n epidemic of them on the airwaves..

although I do like Chase.. so far.

    • I never needed stats to tell me how a player is doing. I watch every snap and if they have more bad plays than good plays that is all I need to see. Young has more bad than he has good, by a wide margin.  He was going to need to overcome an overwhelming size disadvantage coming into the league. He had to lead a dysfunctional, talentless team and turn it around. He had no chance and somehow the FO overlooked all of that. The fact that the odds of it being remotely successful were 1000:1 is all the reason you need. Tepper made his fortune taking gambles like this but that is in finance, you don't do that in football.
    • Ty for posting this. People who have been paying attention can see Canales' fingerprints all over Bryce this season. Last season Bryce would be 15 yards deep at the top of his drop. This game he was a consistent 7-10 yards. The big takeaway for me is that DC seems to have simplified the game for Bryce. I noticed that BY9 only operated one half of the field. When the ball is on the outside hash (short side), his game is geared more to the boundary. Multiple patterns and deep outside shots. When the ball is placed on the inside hash (wide side), it's virtually all in-breaking or smoke routes and\or deep shots. Most of his over the middle passes are executed from a deep drop. I really do not think he can see the field. I think DC has tried to mitigate it as best he can, but there simply are physical limitations that cannot be ignored in this league. I do not think he can execute fully, DC's offense. I think DC is frustrated and damn near over the BY9 era.
    • If the other guy didn't try to have someone murdered, Xavier Legette would easily be the worst draft pick this franchise has ever spent on a WR.
