Yes. Yes they do. In fact, they are probably one of the pootiest things I've messed with in a Video game.

Case in point...

On my little single player game, I found a place where there is a huge lake of lava, right above the bedrock. I've dug out the stone covering most of it, then dug a single block vertical tunnel all the way to the surface, which happened to be under an ocean. I capped it off to allow for controlled releases of water, and made a channeling system several blocks above the surface of the lava, where I can dump water where I want to make Obsidian. My plan is to occasionally refill sections of the area with lava and farm an epic amount of Obsidian to make a black/purple spire.

Well, I figured I should make a little base of operations with a minecart system back to the ladders that take me to where most of my main base stuff is. I made the remote base above the lava, and walled it off so I don't fall in. I was happily working away on the tunnel connection to the rail system and out of no where...

BANG... Somehow a Creeper got IN my workspace, and blew up at the perfect angle to throw me in the lake of lava... so I'm burning to death... I don't have any water... Dead... clock... compass.. several pieces of armor and a fuuuuuuuuuucking Diamond Pick... fried.

Yeah... Creepers blow hard.

God damned creepers.

Added 3 hours to this damned project. Are they set to be more aggressive than they are in the single player mode? Had some blow up when I was on the other side of a wall a couple of times and have never had that happen in single player even when the difficulty was cranked up to hard.

Everyone seems to think they are. Sadly I can't tone it down. And I would if I could. I had like 10 spawn all around me when it started thundering.
