Dick Van Dyke is the Porpoise King!

Dick Van Dyke, star of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Mary Poppins, passed out on his surfboard during a trip to the beach. When the 84-year-old Dick (hehe) woke up, he was so far out he couldn’t see land.

The situation got worse when he started paddling with the swells and “I started seeing fins swimming around me and I thought ‘I’m dead!’”

Turns out they were the fins of porpoises that ended up pushing him all the way to shore. Then they swam off leaving behind a rainbow contrail. But not before making Dick their porpoise king.

Does anyone else think this is a story a senile man made up because he got lost coming back from the mall? I’m not saying that’s what this is but if he starts talking about how they high fived him with their flippers then excuse me if I become a little skeptical.
