Nobody has steped up to replace Moose, so we retired his position. That should be enough.

Might as well retire Jake's number too.

Retiring a Number is pretty srs bsns. It's something where it would take years(or decades) before someone else can duplicate their production.

Also retiring a number and retiring a jersey are 2 different things.

You got the idea of what I was saying though? No argument with you brother. I just find he was one of the few CAR players that has records it would take "years", as you said, to break. Steve Smith is on track to break his reception record, but even then, he is in decline and we never throw to him. He won't break it this season, but hopefully next season.

Anyways, even if Moose's # shouldn't be retired, that doesn't take away the fact he was an outstanding player with a long successful career. I guess I'm just kind of dissapointed we gave a journeyman WR the # of a Panther great.

They debated it on ESPN a week after he retired. Not saying I am in agreement, but he has put up some good numbers. And no I'm not high, but if you have a joint, pass it my way. Not sure who it was that said it.

I'm just praying Luck doesn't pick #17. I think he has more sense than to do that though. I bet it will be at least 3 seasons before that number is touched.
