Boxer Pups

Yah I looked at Blue Ridge Boxer. Several of theirs were 325$ and a couple of mixes are 150$.

I agree most "purebreds" aren't purebreds. I've seen a lot that have pit in them, some that have lab in them. I'm going for something with heavy jowels and short back legs.

That's why I'm being very picky and looking for someone I can trust instead of just going by some papers because I don't want my boxer looking decidedly non-boxerish a year down the road.

But thanks for the help everyone. I may end up going with Blue Ridge if I can't find a good rehome. One thing on my side is I'm patient.

I want one badly, specifically a fancy fawn. Anyone know any good breeders that won't charge an arm and a leg for a purebred?

Papers and pedigree don't matter, I just want to be able to trust the people I get the pup from.

I know some good dudes in the Charlotte area.

Just in case woodcooked's cousin doesn't work out, you may as well fill out an application now for Blue Ridge. They have a waiting list, and the lady told us that getting a puppy can take upwards of a year sometimes.

Growing up, I always had AKC registered Collies. First a Female then a Male. Both were great dogs.

Now, I'm never buyin another dog or cat as long as I live! Breed, make model isn't as important to me as the pet itself. I spent big bucks for an Old English Sheepdog, because the ex-fiancee ABSOLUTELY HAD TO HAVE ONE! (Red flag went up when the Breeder said the Father was too mean to see.) But went I tried to tell her that, she was like "The dog has such beautiful markings, I have to have him!" I ended up having to take it to the Vet and have him put down. It turned vicious toward her. (Little did I know it had good taste!)

I had a neighbor who ran a Chow Puppy Mill out of his back yard!

Pound Puppies or Kitties are the only way to go.

Got this email today. Let me know if you are still interested.

This guy's name is Sampson, and he was rescued from the Chester Animal Control where the conditions were horrible and his feet were bleeding from the cold water he had to stand in! DON'T GET ME STARTED! These are the comments from the guy currently taking care of Sampson. "Pure bred boxer. Seems to be crate trained very well. Listens. Rescued from Chester Animal Control and his feet were bleeding from the cold, cold water there and cold conditions. He is HW NEG. He is has all shots except his DPT. I am currently worming him now."

    • Yep. I was hoping for and calling for a day three guy. But I didn’t research the position to say if we should or should‘t have jumped at a particular guy at a particular spot.    And everything I read said it was a poor draft for RBs depth wise. I guess when Seattle takes a backup RB in the 1st, that kind of backs that up.    I definitely think we should keep 4 running backs and if King can play well enough then keep him too.    I believe I heard Canales say we are a running team (talking about drafting a WR he will be needing to block as well as catch). Well if we are gonna be a running team by identity we don’t need to stock the WR room to overflowing. If one room has to sacrifice, it should not be the RB room given our circumstances.
    • If there's a pattern I'm definitely picking up from Dan and company is a philosophy of making trades where we try not to sacrifice the number of draft picks we have by day's end. In other words, we're not giving up three picks for one, or giving up a future pick to make a pick today. And even if we give up something at the start, we make trades later to make up for that initial loss. Here's how it stacked up for 2026: How we started: 19, 51, 83, 119, 158, 159, 200 How we ended: 19, 49, 83, 129, 144, 151, 227 (no future picks sacrificed) Ultimately, we moved up two spots in the second to ensure we got someone we coveted, gave up a few spots for our fourth round pick, but then had better picks in the 5th (and got really good value out of them), and had a worse 7th rounder which isn't that big of a loss anyways.  At this point, we can question who they draft, but they're pretty good maneuvering across the draft board.
    • I just saw the funniest thing...or very disappointing, depending how you handle misery. A guy on YouTube did a 2027 'way too early' mock draft.  If I told you the simulator has the Panthers selecting in the top 10 , what would you say?  If I told you it was pick #8 and only two QBs were taken in the top 7, what would you say?  If I told you this dude had us taking a defensive player, what would you say?
