I'm Proud of This Team

We went from 2-15  in 2023, to 5-12 in Canales' first year, to 8-9  and a narrow loss to a super bowl caliber team with a first ballot Hall of Famer at QB with an offensive genius for a head Coach. 

We beat the Los Angles Rams earlier in the season, we scored 31 points in both games. With a better defense and more discipline and experience,  we win both of those games IMO. 

I like the direction the team is going in. My main gripe is Evero and the defense.  We need an aggressive smart DC that will take our team to the next level. Need a pro bowl level pass rusher and a couple of new MLBs, defense isn't that far away. We have a very solid dline, very good CBs, and solid Safteys (I'd replace nick Scott with Ransom in someone else though).  I could see Morgan making a huge push for a big name pass rusher and or MLB in free agency this year.

Also don't forget we're getting Jonathon Brooks back for next year. That's essentially like a free second round caliber RB being added to the roster for next year. Especially with Rico's fall off over the last half of the season,  Brooks is a cheap option to take his role and hes already on the roster. 

Coker came alive this game. He might be WR1. What a fuging beast!! 

Damn shame about Ickey. That injury couldn't have been more ill timed with him set to be paid probably this off season.  I'm hoping it's not as bad as it looked but damn It looked bad to me.
