Hah that is the most generic synopsis I have read in a long while by HBO - but most welcome to readers.

I think you're right about next episode being more Jon/Ygritte-centric.

Robb and Cat will probably be featured more now too since I think RW is ep. 9.

I'm also interested to see how they tackle the Beric storyline. At first I thought he would be minor - but I think they're going with his book timeline.

The Hound wins the fight correct?

I'm guessing they will kill him there, revive him, explain what's going on with all that, then he will find Cat on ep 10 and she becomes Lady Stoneheart.

Question:

The shemale chick who kicks ass was taking Jamie back to his family, right. So why was he trying to get away from her? I think I'm missing something.

She was secretly trying to take him back to King's Landing to exchange him for Sansa and Arya (whom Cat doesn't know isn't in King's Landing anymore)... If Jaime could escape, he could rejoin the battle against Robb, and Brienne wouldn't have any leverage to get Cat's daughters back...

Beric will lose and Thoros will bring him back. I'm sure Thoros will find Cat in e10 too.

One change from the books that is coming is that

Gendry (who stays with the Brotherhood in the books) is apparently the target of Melisandre. She want's his Baratheon blood, and he'll likely be going back to Dragonstone with her (I'm assuming,) and will be replacing Edric Storm's character from the books. She comes and gets him (or at least tries to) from the Brotherhood, and this is assumed based on pictures with her on a Brotherhood set with Thoros.

That's interesting.

I need to look up where he is now in the series to see how it would affect a future book.

We don't know much about his status, really... other than he was with the Brotherhood and kinda stayed behind to smith at an Inn.

Alex Graves is directing "Kissed by Fire" tonight - he did last weeks entry. Readers will know by the title alone of a certain scene, but it also looks like a few other storylines are going to come together.

Already half way through the season though, which sucks =/.

this season does not suck? Your opinion however is different because you've read the books and most of the time people who have read the book of something that gets turned into a tv show or movie are usually more critical and i don't mean to offend but bitchy if its not word for word. however since im going in blind im loving this season,
