Nook Color or 2nd Gen Nook?

My daughter has a Nook Color, upgraded from the regular Nook. Screen is amazing, she loves it.

UPDATE: Bought the Nook Color and LOVE it, even though I haven't had a lot of time to use it. Getting ready to be gone for three weeks - one at a conference in DC and two in the Florida Keys for vacation - so it will definitely come in handy. Love the screen, the backlight, the options to change the font sizes, colors, etc., plus the apps and web browser.

Cost: $250 retail. 20% off discount from my brother, who works at B&N = $200. Plus $60 in B&N gift cards = $140. Plus $50 cash birthday gift = $90. Not a bad deal at all!

In direct sun it is hard to read.

With a little shade and maxed out brightness it isn't bad at all.
