Sounds like the Panthers are set at DT heading into Week One

So did you expect us to sign one tonight?

You actually thought they were gonna sign someone before gameday? Do you not know how inane you sound?

meh...they've been talking about doing that anyway and they have used CJ and brayton at NT in the past. rivera said that they could even use selvie there so don't forget to have a cow about that as well.

i wouldn't be a bit surprised to see some downs where we only have 2 guys on the Dline altogether.

keep on stressing about it, though.

and how is that more of a concern today, than it would be any other sunday?

Gawd you guys beat a dead horse til it's 50 feet under.

Very astute observation you made there, only 16 hours before kickoff.

Been talking about it all week, duh. All of time didn't occur the day before, duh. I was simply repeating it based on the update about the shifting players around to fill an obvious hole that the Panthers were planning, when all Hurney had to do was pick up one to begin with.

Don't say anything else about it, I've already responded to whatever you pull out of your behind that you think is smart.

Also if we wait til after week 1 then the contract isn't guaranteed, correct? So why not wait til after Arizona.

Answered that yesterday, but thanks for asking.

If you get a good player, you expect to pay them all season, so there is no reason not to. If your excuse is, "well, if they get hurt, we don't want to have to pay them", then my question is, what's to stop the players you just resigned from getting hurt, ala Beason or Peyton Manning?

Just quit being cheap.
